offering a limited number of participants the chance to
take a marvelous trip to Florida and support BSBO at the
same time. Follow in the footsteps of Roger Tory
Peterson and Edwin Way Teale, share their journey to the
Gulf coast of Florida's Panhandle. A bio-diversity
“hotspot,” this regions refuges and reserves harbor an
incredible variety of birds, mammals, reptiles and
amphibians, wildflowers and trees. From cypress swamps
to sandy beaches, this Natural Heritage program
highlights the wonders of this naturally and culturally
rich region facing change as the last remnant of “old”
Florida.
